The First Act In the Tall Tales of Bunny Rabbit...

ATTN: My Dear Readers -

I just found this awesome music video that was just released in November '09.

It's called Rio Grande, by female rapper Bunny Rabbit (aka Melisa Rincon).  Bunny Rabbit is a  female rapper straight out of Brooklyn, NY  that collaborates and is produced by her partner  Black Cracker (aka Celena Glenn), who also DJ's for CocoRosie.  Together they released her debut album in 2007 "Lovers & Crypts", the first act in the Tall Tales of Bunny Rabbit.

Supposedly, the release of "Lovers and Crypts" symbolized the marriage between MC Bunny Rabbit & DJ Black Cracker.

. The video and sound of  Rio Grande is 100% Trip-Hop, groovy, and dark as all hell.  I LOVE IT!!   She sounds like a little girl on a school playground singing "Ring Around the Rosie", rhyming naughty and explicit hip-hop lyrics. Of course while being  accompanied by some sick acid bass beats.

I've heard her style referred to as, "midnight freestyle nursery rhymes" on her CD Universe Discography.

The video was directed by War Hologram (aka Crunc Tesla).  It not only kept my attention but gave me that satisfying, dirty, groove feeling that most of us yearn for.
